Well, for starters, read what I said, and then read your response.

I will state what I said in a slightly different way to maybe bring it out better:

Those that are raised by people who are forced to be helicopter parents because they are so busy with their job and it's lack of protections are sceptical of the capitalism that caused their parents to be that way.

In short, I am talking about the response of children raised by the helicopter parents who are the employees of capitalists.

Now, what you have said is that you are a capitalist and a parent, but not a helicopter parent.

OK. Then your situation has nothing to do with what I'm saying (though it might be interesting to find out whether your kids agree with your self-assessment as to your parenting and, more importantly for this conversation, what their views on capitalism are).

Your single anecdotal situation does not in anway deligitimize my suggestion that the pressures of capitalism on workers create helicopter parents, and that their kids, because of this, grow up to be suspicious of capitalism.
