I feel you on a lot of what you say here. I'm 47 and only just doing my Master's. I'm also getting to grips with what I believe is undiagnosed ADHD (inattentive type: still working on that diagnosis), which is mostly just an opportunity to say, 'it's not just that I didn't try hard enough'.
