Intolerance of intolerance is not intolerant.

Intolerance of opinions that can't be updated by facts or experience is also not intolerant. It's recognizing when someone has been brainwashed and is a danger to themselves and others.

In Trump's opinion Covid is no worse than the flu. Tell me again how that opinion is protected but the lives of 600,000+ Americans is not?
